Thank you everyone for your prompt response for the t-shirts!

We have had a very busy week!  We have been learning the letters "b" and "l" and two new sight words "and" and "what".  We have been learning about the weather, the seasons, the calendar and time.  Of course we have been making connections about all of this throughout our school year.

We have learned all about plant parts and now we are investigating seeds.  Tomorrow we will be observing what happens when a lima bean begins to grow.

DRESS DOWN - MONDAY, MARCH 16th
Monday, March 16 will be a Dress Down for Donation Day supporting the American Heart Association.  The Student Council is hosting a Raffle from March 16 to March 20. Tickets will be sold 5 for $1 during the lunch periods.

Jump for Heart
Don't forget your Jump for Heart/Hoop for Heart donations. Jump/Hoops for Heart will take place next week during gym classes. You can see Mr. Parillo's page for additional information. If we reach our school goal of $1500 the American Heart Association will make a donation  back to the school for gym equipment.

CLASS TRIP- Protecting God's Children

We are in the process of planning our class trip for June.  As mentioned at Orientation, any parents wishing to attend need to have completed the Protecting God's Children requirements.  The process does take some time so please plan accordingly.  You can visit virtus.org for more information.

You will be receiving a letter next week with all the necessary information regarding the class trip.
